Stiftung Warentest: Caress best in test

STIFTUNG WARENTEST – HAMAX CARESS C2 TEST WINNER

TOP RESULTS IN CHILD BICYCLE SEAT TEST

The German consumer foundation, Stiftung Warentest, recently tested 17 child bicycle seats, both rear and front mounted, where Hamax seats went straight to the top level in both categories.

The test was looking first and foremost into safety and compliance with the standard. In addition the user friendliness and operation of the seats was evaluated by an experienced test panel. All products were also checked for material durability and hazardous substances.

The Hamax Caress C2 achieved an overall top score, with excellent results in the fields of safety and durability. This confirms earlier test results from among others Consumentenbond in the Netherlands (2016). The Hamax Caress C2 is to be found in Hamax’ high-end range of child bicycle seats, and was received as an innovation in the category when launched in 2013. With its slender and elegant design, it obtained both the Red Dot product design award and the Taipei Cycle gold award for design and innovation the same year.

The front mounted Observer is design wise in the same family as the Caress C2. The Observer was also one of the preferred seats in the Stiftung Waretest comparison. Also this seat with excellent results in the areas of safety and durability.

We are happy that Stiftung Warentest recommends the use of both Hamax seats for a safe and  comfortable journey for the child!
